Coventry Central Hall has been serving the city of Coventry since its opening in 1932. Although suffering considerable damage, it survived the second world war whilst many buildings close by, including Coventry’s fine 15th century Cathedral, suffered irreparably.
Central Hall is no mere preaching centre - it is a real, living Church and that is the secret of its success.
- Every Sunday at 10.30am there is morning worship with Junior Church.
- Every Sunday at 1.00pm there is a Zimbabwean
Service.
- Every Sunday at 6.30pm an evening service.
-During the week the Sisterhood meets on Mondays at 2.00pm and the Over 60’s Club meets on Thursdays at 1.30pm.
-
The Youth Fellowship meets on Fridays at 6.00pm.
- There is a snooker club for retired men every Tuesday at 10.30am and, for the more active, there is a badminton club which also meets on a Tuesday but at 7.30pm.
-
A “Prayer Breakfast” is held every Monday at 7.45am. Bible Study takes
place on a Wednesday at 2.00pm.
- In addition there is The City Centre
Ecumenical Youth Group which meets as follows:
Sunday 2.00pm to 6.00pm
Monday 6.00pm to 9.30pm
Wednesday 6.00pm to 9.30pm
Saturday 2.00pm - 6.00pm
Many other activities take place including social evenings, concerts and dances. The building is also regularly used for major events in the life of the city.
